Course Description

This introductory course is an overview of electrical hazards, and how to mitigate them. You will have a greater understanding of regulations, standards, and rules for working safely on energized electrical equipment. Also covered is how to choose the proper personal protective equipment as well as its care and maintenance. Lockout, arc flash hazard analysis, energized electrical work permits and job briefing will also be covered.

Course Completion

To successfully complete the course, students have 3 attempts to achieve 80 % or higher on each quiz. Upon successful completion of the course exam, a printable certificate is issued.
